RACERS ANNOUNCE 2010 HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
AKRON, Ohio-The Akron Racers announced today the high school tournament schedule for games to be played at Firestone Stadium this coming spring. Teams are ranked, by their coaches, to determine the placement of teams in pools. Teams compete within their pool to determine the winner. The top team in each pool receives a trophy. Registration forms are available by calling the Akron Racers office at 330-376-8188.
The 2010 MAC Tournament returns to Firestone Stadium on May 5-8. The top eight teams in the MAC will battle for a spot in the Women's College World Series. The OHSAA State Softball Tournament is scheduled for June 3-5. This is the third-year in the City of Akron's 10-year host agreement with the OHSAA.
